Also, police arrested Mahila Congress president Sunita Rao and other women leaders who had come to Indira Park and Dharna Chowk.On the other hand, former ministers Geeta Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah along with Ramu Naik and Feroz Khan and other Congress leaders also took part in another protest in Hyderabad.
TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is on a walkathon with Maheshwar Reddy in the Nirmal district.Congress leaders rallied on bicycles and bullock carts in Mahabubabad.
Bicycle and bullock cart rallies were organized from Alampalli in Vikarabad district to NTR Chowrasta.They demanded a reduction in petrol, diesel and cooking gas prices.
Former minister Gaddam Prasad Kumar and several others took part in the protest.
