Chennai, November 23rd : .A Coimbatore Bombblast Case ex-convict, after serving 11 years in prison, was shot dead by four young men for taking a goat from Coimbatore.
Four arrests have been made in connection to this incident. M.
Sait, alias Sait Bakarudin served his sentence and was released.
Podanur police were told by the youths that a goat had been stolen from Abudhakir’s house on Monday.They discovered that it belonged to Bakarudin.
Abudhakir and Mohammed Ali, Abudhakir’s younger brother, confronted Bakarudin.Bakarudin threatened their lives with a knife.
Abudhakir’s father Sulaiman later brought the Podanur Police to the mutton stand where Sait Bakarudin, who had been under the influence alcohol, kept the goat.
He was asked by police to come at Podanur’s Podanur station in the latter part of the day.
Police say that Bakarudin was attacked by iron rods and sticks by the youths who followed him after police had left.
Bakarudin was unconscious when local people discovered him and took Bakarudin to Coimbatore Medical College, where he died.
On Tuesday, Abudhakir and his brother Mohammed Ali were arrested by Podanur Police.Their friends A.Mohammed Nazif, A.Mohammed Anzar, and A.Mohammed Anzar were also taken into custody.The Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder), charged them.
