A 20-year-old youngster from Hyderabad, Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash, is the new world’s fastest human calculator now.He won the first-ever gold medal for India in the recent Mental Calculation World Championship held in London.Being a Maths graduate from St Stephen’s College in Delhi, Bhanu surpassed 30 competitors from 13 countries to become the first Indian to achieve this feat.

Bhanu has mastered his Mathematical skills from the age of five and won many accolades for his prowess.Apart from cash prize and personal pride, Bhanu’s name has been included in the Global Hall of Fame, which excites the Math lovers like him.

Nothing is exaggerated when we talk about this Young lad, at the age of 20 itself he has built a start-up company called Exploring Infinites (EI) to train government students.The start-up is associated with the Telangana government to develop speed and cognitive ability in students.

Before this news breaks out, the only Mathematics genius we know is ‘Shakuntala Devi’.A movie on the same name has been creating waves on Amazon Prime Video.

  Though it’s a coincidence, the people are relating Bhanu Prakash to the movie and praising him as ‘The son of Shakuntala Devi’.
