Seoul, Nov 30, : South Korea has detected the first case of Omicron variant Covid-19.Health authorities in South Korea said Tuesday that the nation had tightened its entry restrictions to stop the virus spreading.Yonhap news agency reported that health authorities conducted a DNA sequencing test on a couple who arrived from Nigeria to South Korea and found they had Covid.
The results will be announced Wednesday afternoon.
