First Look: Mani Ratnam-Dil Raju’s ‘OK Bangaram’

Producer Dil Raju has acquired the rights to the Telugu dubbed version of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil romantic drama ‘Ok Kanmani’.

The film has been titled ‘Ok Bhangaram’ in Telugu and is slated for release in April.

The film starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Meneon in the lead and the makers are busy with post production work.The first look poster of ‘Ok Bangaram’ is out on the eve of Valentines Day.Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen appeared cute in the first look.Ok Kanmani also has Prakash Raj and Kaniha in pivotal roles and the movie is produced by Mani Ratnams Madras Talkies.

The film is said to be a low-budgeted film and takes a dig at contemporary marriages and the way youth are getting relationships strained.The movie will also see cinematographer PC Sreeram working with Mani Ratnam after a long gap.AR Rahman has scored the music for this film.Mani Ratnam’s previous movie ‘Kadal was slammed by the critics and the film turned out to be a big time disaster.

He is looking for comeback with the film.
