Karthi who scored a huge blockbuster with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Khaidi’ in both Telugu and Tamil, was last seen in ‘Sulthan’ directed by Bhakkyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ fame which was an average grosser at the box office in Tamil but flopped in Telugu.Now he is all set to join hands with director PS Mithran of ‘Irumbu Thirai’ and ‘Hero’ fame for his next.
Now the latest update is that the film’s first look is out now and the project is titled as ‘Sardar’.The interesting news is that Karthi will be seen playing a dual role for the first time in his career in the film.
Raashi Khanna of ‘ Ayogya’ fame and Rajisha Vijayan of ‘Asuran’ fame are playing the female lead roles while yesteryear Bollywood hero Chundey Pandey and Simran will be seen in pivotal roles.
Karthi looks rugged in the first look with a beard and long hair with a serious look.

The film is produced on a grand scale by S.Lakshman Kumar under Prince Pictures banner while GV Prakash Kumar is the music director and the film is written by Roju and Bipin Ragu.George C Williams is the film’s cinematographer while K Kadhir is the art director and Ruben is the film’s editor.Keep watching this space for more updates!
