Filming Grandma during pandemics was difficult: Director Shijinlal

, director of horror-thriller "Grandma" explained that filming the film was difficult because they had to film crucial parts during the pandemic.He said that without the support of his crew, the film would not have been possibleAfter launching the trailer, the director stated that "the entire process of making Grandma" was a difficult one.Without the support of my crew, we were unable to shoot large portions during Covid-19.Sonia and Vimala Raman, the actresses, were extremely patient during the shoot.

I owe them a lot of their patience and unwavering support.The director revealed that the first half of his film would contain horror elements.

However, the second half would be about the survival and well-being of the protagonists.He said, "I am certain audiences will have an entirely different experience watching Grandma’." Jayaraj R., the producer, stated that "We shot this movie during the pandemic period in Kerala and it was very challenging.We had to shoot the majority of the movie in 12 continuous days.The entire crew was very supportive.

Three actresses play the lead roles in the film: Sharmila, Vimala Raman, and Sonia Aggarwal.Sharmila, speaking at the event, said that she was grateful to the entire crew for their support.

Sonia and Vimala helped me relive my college days.Pournami Raj, the little girl, has done a fantastic job." Vimala Raman stated, "Initially director Shijin approached us for a different project but then we ended up with Grandma.Although "Grandma" is a horror movie, it was really fun to work on.Sonia Agarwal has been a good friend of mine for a long period.It was like a reunion to work in Grandmas office.

My experience without Vimala Raman would have been strange as I was afraid to leave my room alone while filming horror films.I am grateful to the entire crew for making me feel at ease on the sets.
