Facebook Messenger chief announces that he will be leaving Meta

San Francisco, December 8, 2008 : Stan Chudnovsky is the current chief of Metas Messenger division.

He has announced that he will be leaving the company in Q2 next yearChudnovsky, who joined the firm in early 2015, posted on Facebook that he doesnt plan to retire but that he was looking forward to a long, enjoyable vacation.

He wrote in a Facebook post that he had said, "I have been working nonstop since the age of 16 with about two-week breaks between projects -- always either starting businesses, starting venture funds (NFX), or running companies.Facebook is moving towards the metaverse and several prominent executives have resigned.

Last week, Metas cryptocurrency chief David Marcus announced that he would be leaving the company at years end.Morgan Beller, a co-founder of the project, left the company in September 2020 to pursue venture capital.Kevin Weil, another founder of the project, left in March to join Planet.Planet is a San Francisco-based company that has a fleet satellites that take photos every day of the earth, providing imagery that shows how the earth changes.
