It is wrong to turn down your favorite appetizers, meals, or desserts in celebration! Our exercise schedule and other physical activities are put on the back burner.

It can be difficult to maintain your weight during wedding season.

However, smart choices and the right food intake can help.Sakshi Bakshi, founder of Nucros, shares her personal insights on how to keep our weight in check during winter wedding season.

Keep your diet in check
Before you go out on a long night, make sure to keep it light. To keep your hunger under control, you should eat as many complex carbohydrates as you can. This will help keep your calories low and your hunger at bay.Salads, soups and smoothies are great ways to include fruits and vegetables.Priority should be given to vegetables.Avoid thick cream soups and instead eat soups rich in vegetables.

Choose lean proteins
In winter, it is a good idea to eat warm and heated food when dining out.For vegetarians, it is recommended to eat lean protein such as paneer, soya and dal, and for non-vegetarians, fish, chicken, and other forms of protein.

Balance calories
Make sure you eat a simple breakfast and lunch that includes lots of fruits and vegetables.Even if dinner is heavy, your calorie intake for the day is maintained by eating breakfast and lunch.

So that you don’t overeat, eat a small meal before you go out.

Consume small amounts
A quarter plate is a good option for buffets or parties. It allows you to better control the amount of food you eat.Even if you only make two trips to the buffet, this helps you control how much you eat.

Keep hydrated
She shares a very important tip: Stay during the dry winter season. This dry season can cause health problems, such as headaches, gut issues, and skin problems.

Drink at least one glass per hour, or 12-16 glasses per day.To keep calories down, she recommends that you drink one glass of water and two glasses of alcohol if you go out.
