DSP Talks About His Seetimaar Song In Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe’

Star composer Devi Sri Prasad’s popular South Indian songs were reprised in Hindi in the past.His Telugu hits songs like “Ringa Ringa” is used as “Dinka Chika” for Salman Khan’s film ‘Ready’ and “Aakalesthe Annam Pedtha” was also reprised in ‘Bhaag Johnny’ film and have managed to become hits yet again.

Now another addition to that super hit songs list is the popular track “Seetimaar” from the film Allu Arjun’s hit film ‘DJ: Duvvada Jagannatham’.
This song was reprised for the upcoming Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Radhe’ whose trailer was released a couple of days ago.As soon as the trailer was released over the net, people pointed out the similarity in the song and many of them pointed out that Salman Khan’s film lacks originality.Salman Khan has also successfully managed to copy Allu Arjun’s steps and expressions as it is in the new version of the song in ‘Radhe’.

After the controversy, Devi along with Jani Master have publicly claimed that he composed the Hindi version of this song as well and it was done officially.Speaking about it, Devi Sri also said that famous choreographer Prabhu Deva once approached him to come up with a peppy track for ‘Radhe’.That’s when Devi suggested the song since Seetimaar Seetimaarr itself is a Hindi word and he thought it would deal with the situation and context of the film.The song will be out very soon in Hindi.
