One of the most popular singers, songwriters and music composers down south, Devi Sri Prasad, who has given some memorable albums and chartbuster songs all through his career down south, has now reportedly bagged a Bollywood biggie says sources.Devi has already scored music for over 100 movies in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.
The latest news is that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has roped in music director Devi Sri Prasad for his upcoming movie ‘Radhe’ which is being directed by choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva.It is said that Devi has been finalized after Salman listened to his song “Choti Choti Baatein” from Mahesh Babu’s 25th film ‘Maharshi’ and was mightily impressed with the tune.
Prabhu Deva, who had earlier worked with DSP in the Telugu films like ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’, ‘Pournami’ and ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’ in the past, has kept the proposal in front of Salman to listen to Devi’s songs.DSP had also composed the chartbuster “Dhinka Chika” song in Salman’s 2011 comedy entertainer, ‘Ready’ and “Naacho Re” song in ‘Jai Ho’ which released in 2014.
