Dreams do come true: Dinesh Karthik elated with his inclusion in India’s T20 World Cup squad

New Delhi, Sep 12 : After being named in the India team for the 2022 T20 World Cup squad in Australia Veteran wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik shared his heartfelt message via social media.

With his impressive scoring rate and his ability to finish the All-India Senior Selection Committee on Monday selected the veteran cricketer in Indias 15-member team for the coming Mens T20 World Cup.Following the announcement of the team, Karthik expressed his happiness on Twitter, writing "Dreams can come true".The 37-year-old has been named to the team named to play in the home match against Australia and South Africa.

He previously said that his desire to be a part of India is just as powerful as ever "The larger goal was to represent the nation.I know theres the World Cup around the corner.

I want to be a part of the World Cup desperately and help India get there," Karthik had said "Its been quite a while since India won a multi-nation event.Id like to be the person who can help India achieve this.

To do that, you have to think differently, you have to be aware of numerous things and be the kind of player that people look up at them and say, "hey, this person is doing something really special and I want to be like him," he added.
