Director Vetrimaran backs Suriya over the “Jai Bhim” controversy

Vetrimaran, a National Award-winning Tamil director, stated that Suriya is the star who redefined stardom.

He also expressed support for Suriyas just-released movie Jai BhimTaking to Twitter, Vetrimaran said, "No one can be made to feel lesser for doing the right thing.".Vetrimaran took to Twitter to say, "Nobody can feel less for doing right." He went on to say, "The commitment of director T J Gnanavel to make this film to let the world know the plight of the victims and Suriyas constant efforts towards social justice, on and offscreen is truly inspiring.#JaiBhim".
