Dhanush Reunites With ‘Karnan’ Director For Another Film

Its well known that Dhanushs latest release Karnan which hit the big screens on April 9th has become his career-highest grosser in Tamil Nadu and is one of the biggest hits in Kollywood after the theatres reopened.

The film also won loads of critical acclaim along with box office success for its unique concept.

The film is directed by Mari Selvaraj of Pariyerum Perumal fame and also marked the Kollywood debut of Malayalam actress Rajisha Vijayan.Now the latest news is that Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj have decided to work together on one more project.

Dhanush who is pretty impressed with Mari Selvarajs work in Karnan has decided to do another film with his and has officially announced his second collaboration with the Karnan director.Dhanush tweeted saying, “Elated to announce that after the blockbuster success of Karnan, Mari Selvaraj and myself are joining hands once again.

Pre-production going on, shoot will commence next year.”

On the work front, Dhanush awaits the release of Karthik Subbarajs directorial Jagame Thandiram.He recently wrapped up shooting for Anand L Rai’s upcoming Hindi film Atrangi Re and is currently in the USA shooting for his Hollywood movie The Gray Man directed by The Russo Brothers and co-starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj is shooting for his next film which is a kabaddi-based sports drama starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead role.
