Mumbai 28 August : Manoj Desai, the owner of the film exhibitor that owns the famous Maratha Mandir and Gaiety Galaxy theatres in Mumbai was in conversation with “Liger” actor Vijay Deverakonda after the latter’s statement was misinterpreted in industry circles, thereby damaging the feelings of some people, including Desai.Vijay who is the owner of a theater and is aware of the various aspects of the business of film, thought it was essential to get the facts out of the way.He flew to Mumbai from Hyderabad to meet Desai and explain his client that what the theater owner saw was a fake video.
After Vijay presented his perspective of the story and stated that he truly loves his fans and was a participant in public events across the country despite a injured back, Desai understood the context and said that Vijay is the second person following Amitabh Bachchan to whom he apologized in his personal life.
Desai is all praise for Deverakonda.He stated: “He is a really nice person and down to earth.I will love him forever.He has an exciting future ahead of him and I promise that I will be taking all his photos.I wish him the best.”
