After years of bad run at the box office, Mani’s film made on his own banner Madras Talkies has minted money for him.OK Bangaram was a confirmed hit and Mani is back to success with the film.Now this amazing filmmaker has got a unique honor in international arena.

Some select films of Mani Ratnam would be screened in the prestigious Museum of The Moving Image in New York city.Three of his acclaimed films “Roja”, “Bombay” and “Dil Se” will be showcased.

Not only that Mani Ratnam will take part in Q&As, moderated by Richard Pena, director emeritus of New York Film Festival and professor of film studies at Columbia U., after the screenings.New York Film festival is scheduled to commence from July 31st- Aug 2nd this year.

The museum described Ratnam as “that rarest of film directors”.This is indeed a great moment for Mani Ratnams fans to rejoice!.
