Padmini Reddy wife of Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha has announced her political career and expressed her desire to contest from the Sangareddy Assembly constituency in the general elections.
Padmini Reddy has declared that she would oppose Sangareddy Congress MLA Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy in the ensuing Assembly elections as a counter to his statements.
Padmini Reddy lashed out at the MLA for declaring that he would capture polling booths in the next elections and will safe more than a lakh vote majority.While speaking to the correspondents, she said “I am ready to contest from Sangareddy Assembly constituency if the people want.
” She alleged that she had written letters to various political party leaders against Jagga Reddy’s open statement on booth capturing.She requested them to take stern action against Jagag Reddy.
She stated that she urged them to take action against the Sangareddy MLA for his dare-devil utterances.Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy was a Congress MLA from Sangareddy constituency and always stood for united state of Andhrapradesh amidst the heavy Telangana movement.
