New Delhi, Nov 26th : .The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), government, is expected to introduce a resolution to repeal three Centre farm laws in a special session at the Delhi Assembly. According to an official source, the Delhi government will also demand compensation for the families and legal guarantees of minimum support price (MSP) for crops.
The state government will also demand that all cases against protesting farmers from the past year be withdrawn.
It will demand the arrest and removal of Ajay Mishra, Union Minister of State for Interior Affairs, in connection to the October 3 Lakhimpur Kari violence.
Gopal Rai, Delhi Development Minister, will move the resolution.
The Delhi government announced in a bulletin that the Legislative Assembly sessions will begin on Friday at 11 AM.
The Assembly has instructed MLAs to adhere to all Covid-19 Standard Operating Protocols, including wearing masks and social distancing.
