DD team survives flight scare at Raipur airport

The Indian Premier League team, Delhi Daredevils managed to survive a major disaster at the Raipur airport today.

The flight carrying the IPL giants almost collided with another plane while landing at the airport.

The flight they were travelling landed at the same time where another flight was taking its runway.A Kolkata-bound plane was already stationed to take-off from the runway when the flight of players was landed.

But thanks to the skills of the pilot, a major tragedy was averted.Pilot used his experience and skill to avert the mishap.

Civil aviation regulatory body is yet to release a statement on this incident.Permitting a plane to land on the runway when another plane was ready to take off should be dealt seriously.

The team is scheduled to play IPL matches in Raipur to be held on May 9 and 12 at Shaheed Veernarayan International Stadium.Delhi Daredevils team includes Yuvraj Singh, JP Duminy, Zaheer Khan, Albie Morkel among others.
