Delhi court issues a new summons to filmmaker of ‘Kaali’ Leena Manimekalai

New Delhi, Aug 30 : A Delhi court has issued a second summons to the filmmaker Leena Manimekalai in an action that was filed over the depiction of Hindu goddess Kaali in the poster of her controversial film of the same title, video and tweet "in the most unconvincing manner".

He also attempted to serve the notification to defendants (Manimekalai and others) via e-mail as well as WhatsApp "In the light of the arguments that were made, summons should be issued again in all ways, including e-mail, as well as Whatsapp." the judge ordered.
