Darshna pips Ganemat for maiden National Women’s Skeet title

Patiala, Nov 24, : Khelo India Youth Games champion Darshna Rahore of Rajasthan defeated Ganemat Sekhon from Punjab 50-46 to win her maiden National Womens Skeet title.

Darshna won bronze in the junior section, scoring 41 in the medal round.The 64thNational Shooting Champion Competitions (NSCC), in Shotgun events, saw the first medal events for the Womens Sket competitions.

They were held here between November 22 and December 14.Ganemat had earlier topped the 31-strong qualification field with a score 117 out of 125 in qualification.Darshna had shot 112 to qualify behind Areeba, who shot 116.Raiza Dhillon from Haryana won the bronze medal in womens Skeet.She shot 36 in final round.

The Shooting Nationals will be held simultaneously at Patiala and Delhi.The Shotgun and Pistol nationals continue at the moment, but the Rifle Nationals will begin in Bhopal on November 26.c #Darshna #pips #Ganemat #maiden #National #Womens #Delhi.
