Daniel Dae Kim will only agree to the ‘Lost’ reboot if the original creators are also on board

Los Angeles, Nov 28, : Daniel Dae Kim, actor, would not consider joining a reboot of "Lost" unless the original creators were present.

He said that he is often asked if his character would be recast or spun-off "It was an extremely special time in my lives.and I cant imagine its been twenty years ago already," he said to Good Morning America.

He said, "If the powers-that-be want to do a restart of it, I would just wanna ensure that its done right.I thought the people behind the series ., Damon(Lindelof), and J.J.Abrams (Abrams) were amazing and Id like to see what they have got to say about the subject before I weigh in.The actor was not happy with the portrayal of Asian stereotypes in his character. He was concerned about how viewers would perceive his role as Jin-Soo Kwons dominant husband to Sun, Yunjin Kims submissive wife, if their characters didn’t change beyond the pilot episode in 2004.

In an interview with the BBC earlier this year, he stated that his greatest fear was that Losts pilot would air.But the series would not.Because if you saw the pilot as my character in its entirety, you would have that stereotype "While we were filming, Damon Lindelof sat down with me and J.J.Abrams, and I said, Guys this character cannot progress in a similar way. They basically said, "Trust us." It was the best decision I made.dc/dpb #Daniel #agree #Lost #reboot #original #creators.
