New Delhi, Nov 29th : .India reported Monday 8,309 new Covid cases within the last 24 hours.

This is below the 10,000 mark for three consecutive days.The Ministry of Health and Family welfare reported Monday morning that 236 deaths had been reported in the country during the same time period.
The death toll now stands at 4,68,790 after the addition of 236 deaths.

India reported 8774 new Covid cases on Sunday and 621 deaths.

On Saturday, November 27, 8,774 new Covid cases were reported in India.In 24 hours, 465 deaths and 8318 new cases were also registered.

The cumulative number of 3,40,08183 has increased with the recovery of 9,905 patients within the last 24 hours.India’s recovery rate is now at 98.34 percent, the highest since March 2020.

1,03,859 active cases are currently on the books.The active caseload currently represents 0.30 percent of the country’s total positive patients, which is the lowest level since March 2020.

In the same time period, 7,62,268 tests across the country were also conducted.India has conducted more than 64.02 million cumulative tests.

In the meantime, the weekly positivity rate of 0.85 percent has remained below 1% for the past 15 days.

The daily positivity rate is 1.09 percent.It has remained below 2% for 56 days, and below 3% for 91 consecutive days.

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has reached 122.41 million as of Monday morning, thanks to the administration of 42.04,171 vaccine doses within the last 24 hours.

This was achieved through 1,26.81.072 sessions.

According to the health ministry, more than 24.61 crore of unutilized Covid Vaccine doses and balances are still available to states and UTs to administer, as of Monday morning.
