Jaipur : , Nov 23, 2009 – A number of conclaves were planned for each district in advance of “Invest Rajasthan 2022”, the international summit of state governments. These conclaves offer small investors the chance to sign MoUs or LoIs with government officials and will act as the curtain-raiser for the event.
Officials claim that the Bhilwara district conclave will take place on December 15th.
The conclaves at the district level will help to make small and micro investments that can be used for fast track progress in the state.
Officials are reaching out and negotiating with existing investors to discuss expansion possibilities and potential new investments as part of the conclaves.They are also reaching out to the Rajasthani diaspora and have been assured that they will receive rapid development of their ideas and other policy and strategic advantages in investing in the state.

The conclaves were a great success in every district thanks to the guidance of Secretary Industries, GoR and Commissioner Industry and Commerce.
Archana Singh (Commissioner Industry and Commerce), GoR said, “It is an integrated effort by the local industrial organizations and Rajasthan government to create a sense ownership and facilitate environment in each district and position them as an investment destination.”
Hundreds upon hundreds of proposals for investment have been submitted to all district industry centres (DICs).These proposals come from many sectors, including tourism, food processing and renewable energy, as well as cement manufacturing.
To maximize the potential for investment in each area, the DICs were asked to increase investor outreach.
These measures will provide a solid foundation for major investments, and support state plans to draw international investment to the Invest Rajasthan summit that will be held in Jaipur from November 24-25.
Development of industrial infrastructure is a key role for micro and small businesses.
These have been the focus of Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy 2019 (Raja Investment Promotion Scheme 2019).
