West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh says ‘Corona is gone’ in retort to Mamata’s restrictions on his rallies.
When every state, district and every nook and corner is highly suffering from Coronavirus, West Bengal BJP president has claimed that ‘Corona is gone’.
His statement came when West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee imposed strict lockdown restrictions at a time when BJP is conducting meetings amid full packed public.
Addressing a huge gathering at Dhaniakhali in Hooghly district, Dilip Ghosh said Mamata Banerjee has fallen sick not because of Corona but seeing the crowd at the meeting.
There is ‘no corona… corona is gone’ reportedly said the BJP President in the Bengali language.Consequently, All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) has bashed Ghosh’s claims and said the West Bengal BJP President cares only vote bank politics over human lives.
Accordingly, Ghosh’s remarks are contradicting to Covid-19 tally in Bengal. On Thursday, nearly 3,000 Covid-19 positive cases have recorded with 41 fatalities.
It is reported that Kolkata Police Commissioner Anuj Sharma has also in the list and the overall tally climbs to 1,93,175 in West Bengal. On the other hand, India continues its record streak with a new number of 96,551 Covid-19 cases in a single day.
