Congress demands on KVP Private bill in RS

New Delhi: Congress Leader K V P Ramchandra Rao, introduced a bill in Rajya Sabha for Andhra Pradesh Special Status.

In fact discussions on this bill should have taken place on last Friday itself but didnt due to video issue of Maan.

Congress Leader MP Anand Sharma stated that intentionally BJP stopped it from proceedings.After a couple of days break in winter session on Monday as soon as Rajya Sabha started Anand Sharma spoke on Private Bill and requested for proceedings on this bill.

Even today they tried to stop bill which is not correct.Sharma said that right of members are being ignored.

Deputy speaker Kuriyan stated the house is going as per rules and regulations, further Deputy Speaker said that as of now the discussion on this bill is not possible.This statement of Deputy speaker resulted in agitation by Congress party with a demand and slogans that today discussions on the bill must go on.
