Congress nominates J.P. Agarwal as in-charge for MP

New Delhi, Sep 8 : Former Delhi Congress chief Jai Prakash Agarwal was appointed the AICC responsible for Madhya Pradesh, replacing Mukul Wasnik.

"Honble Congress President has accepted the request of Mukul Wasnik to relieve him of his current role as the General Secretary in charge of Madhya Pradesh so that he is able to oversee other administrative matters," read an AICC announcement.

Agarwal will assume the responsibilities of his new position with immediate beginning "Mukul Wasnik will continue to serve as General Secretary of the AICC.The AICC appreciates his work as the in-charge of Madhya Pradesh," the release reads.miz/ar.
