In the last month in the month of August, the Congress had organized a national protest on the 5th of August against the Modi government’s “anti-people policies”.

The Congress said that the agitation was a strong resonance with the majority of people.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s desperate effort to dismiss legitimate protests as “black magic” underscores the BJP government’s fear of its inability to curb the rising unemployment and inflation,” Ramesh said.

The party claimed that the citizens of India suffered due to the effects of the Modi government’s economic poor management.Inflation was aggravated by the increase in taxes on essential items like buttermilk, curd, and packaged foodgrains, the transfer of public assets to crony capitalists, and the implementation of the uninformed Agnipath scheme made a dire job situation worse, Ramesh said.

“The Indian National Congress will continue to increase awareness of these policies against the population and exert pressure on the BJP government to alter its policies,” he said.
