Today morning Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced that he will be donating Rs.2 crores to the various governments of center and state to help the Coronavirus pandemic.Inspired by his uncle’s gesture, now Ram Charan has also come forward to join Pawan and made a generous donation of Rs.70 lakhs to the center and state governments.
Charan tweeted a note saying, “Hope this tweet finds you in good health.At this hour of crisis, inspired by @PawanKalyan garu, I want to do my bit by contributing to aid the laudable efforts of our governments… Hope you all are staying safe at home!”.
Apart from Charan, his father Megastar Chiranjeevi has also announced that he will be donating Rs.1 crore for providing relief to the film workers.Chiru who joined twitter yesterday tweeted this info on his timeline saying, “The lockdown situation while mandatory to deal with the #CoronaCrisis,also adversely impacts the lives of daily wage workers & lower income groups in the country including the #TeluguFilmIndustry.Keeping this in mind I am donating Rs.1 Cr for providing relief to the Film workers.”
Now, the latest news is that none other than Superstar Mahesh Babu has also come forward and has donated Rs.1 crore for the CM relief fund of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.He also requested everyone to come forward and donate for the relief activities that have been going on for the last week or so.
Mahesh has also tweeted this with a note saying, “Let’s battle the COVID-19 as a nation! I urge everyone to follow the rules put forth by our Government.My deepest gratitude for all your efforts @PMOIndia @TelanganaCMO @KTRTRS @AndhraPradeshCM @ysjagan.Humanity will rise and we will win this war! #StayHomeStaySafee”.
