Children visiting Sabarimala exempted RT-PCR test: Kerala govt

The Kerala government exempted children under ten years from cumpulsory RTPCR testing before they visited the famous Sabarimala templeIt was reaffirmed that elders must ensure that their children are following the Covid protocol and wearing a mask, carrying a sanitiser, and social distancing.

The order also stipulates that elders are responsible for childrens health issues.The above ten-year-old pilgrims must have a negative RTPCR test report no older than 72 hours old or have received both vaccine jabs.

The two-month-long temple season that began on November 16, will end in the third week January with a few days of rest.This season, the daily limit on devotees is 30,000.
