Mumbai 20 August : Actress Chhaya Vora has appeared on of several of television shows such as ‘Shubharambh’, and “Mitron,” before gaining fame for her part in the film “Gangubai Kathiawadi”.Now , the actress is making a comeback to the screen with the fictitious drama “Saavi Ki Savaari’.
In announcing her excitement, she shared: “Im excited to be able to shoot again for TV screens.After my last show , ‘Shubharambh was taken off air I was focused on films.
Artistically, I be working on projects that occur to me as interesting.
“For this reason, I’ve been invited to audition and was selected.I’m incredibly grateful to be able to be able to make my return on the TV screen with new show called ‘Saavi ki Savaari’.I was enthralled by the story and the concept of the show and so of course I agreed to be part of it.”
Chhaya said that with this show for the first time she can explore with her appearance, as she wears grey hair.She stated: “Any actor would dream to play an array of characters.I’ve had the chance to play a variety of characters in television, theatre and in films.
“This time, I’m playing the male character’s (Farman Haider) daadi’s (grandmother) character and it’s completely distinct from the previous character.
My character’s has a name: Uma Devi, and out of affection they refer to me as UD.
“It’s an enjoyable role, however this time I’m given an opportunity to play with my style since I’ll be seen in gray hair and a totally different look.”
“Saavi Ki Savaari The story is about the female protagonist Saavi who sets the bar in becoming the first female auto-rickshaw driver in Ujjain.
It stars Samridhii Shukla and Framan Haider in the lead roles.
“Saavi Ki Savaari’ will air in the near future on Colors.
