Mumbai, Nov 29, : The trailer for the Aanand Rai directed ‘Atrangi Re’, starring Akshay, Dhanush, and Sara Ali Khan gave us a glimpse into a classic template that explores a newfound love.The makers have now released the first song.The track is called “Chaka Chak” and it features Sara dancing to a fusion of a folk-classical tune.A.R.Rahman composed the track.The track was composed by A.R.Rahman and features Carnatic instruments such as Sundari and Thavil.It portrays Sara dancing her heart out at her husband’s engagement.
The song’s production design is the star of the show.With adroit camerawork cutting through engagement attendees and Rai’s signature shade yellow, the song vibrates.
Shreya Ghoshal has crooned the song with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, choreography by Vijay Ganguly.
Sara said that “Chaka Chak”, much like its name, is vibrant and colourful.It’s a celebration in south India, filled with drama, masti, and fun.It’s a treat for the eyes, with Vijay sir choreography, Rahman sir music, Irshad sir lyrics, Shreya maam singing and Aanand Ji’s vision.It’s also my first solo number, so I’m very excited for people to see it.Let’s hope they have as much fun viewing it as I had shooting it.
After their highly successful ‘Raanjhanaa,’ this is the second collaboration between Aanand and Dhanush.The film, which was produced by T-Series and Cape Of Good Films, and written and directed by Himanshu Sharma is now available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting December 24.
