Chain snatchers attacked Telugu female comedian

Chain snatching incidents are on the rise in Hyderabad.

Chain-snatchers targeted Telugu actor Sri Lakshmi in broad daylight on Thursday at Yousufguda.

Two motorcycle-borne youth snatched a gold chain from comedy actress Srilakshmi near SR Nagar on Wednesday evening.The incident took place when the actress was getting into her car after purchasing some bakery items in the Yousufguda.

While she was on her way to home, two youth followed her and within a few minutes, her nine tulas gold chain was yanked away from her and they fled away.The offenders had vanished into the busy traffic before the victim and the passersby could stop them.The culprits had also covered their faces.

The actress lodged a complaint with the SR Nagar police.An investigation has been launched.

Sri Lakshmi has been active in Tollywood since the 80s and has acted in recent films like Gaganam and Dhoni.
