Dharmendra Pradhan, Centre for the Development of Gorakhpur in a ‘Special Educational Zone’

New Delhi, December 11, : .Gorakhpur will become an education zone under the Union Ministry of Education.

The study to transform it into the eastern Uttar Pradeshs education hub is currently underway.Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that with the creation of a Special Education Zone, the Gorakhpurs tradition of spiritual consciousness and knowledge will be carried forward in the coming days.

He said that in line with the needs of the 21st century, the new National Education Policy 2020 is an important initiative towards making the youth knowledgeable, virtuous and globalised.He said that Indias new education policy would make it one of the most important countries in the world.

The union minister was in Gorakhpur on Friday during which he attended the founders week festival of Maharana Pratap Education Council along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.Pradhan asserted that whether it is AIIMS Gorakhpur or Gorakhpur Fertilizer Factory, all the promises made under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, were fulfilled.

Pradhan is the BJP state in-charge of the upcoming assembly election.He said that Gorakhpur was the land of Lord Shiva, Buddha and Yugpurush Mahant Digvijaynath took up responsibility for developing and advancing the community in this region.

This included moving beyond the spiritual consciousness which Mahant Avaidyanath later and Yogi Adityanath today.The union minister, on the occasion, also paid tributes to late General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others who died recently in a chopper crash.
