Ajmer, Nov 30, : Since the news of Parag Agrawal being appointed CEO of Twitter, there have been gala celebrations in Ajmer. Parag Agrawal was born and raised in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
His grandparents and parents lived there for many years.
After learning that Parag, a boy from their city, has been elected the top official of Twitter, the Agrawal community celebrated Parag’s success in Ajmer by exchanging sweets and reveling in his success on Tuesday.
Parag’s grandparents and parents lived in a rented house here in Dhanmandi.
According to Ajmer’s neighbors, Parag’s grandfather was a book-keeper.His father lived in a rented house with his grandparents for many years.
Parag’s father was employed and they moved to Mumbai to start their lives there.
The Agrawal community organized a huge programme to celebrate his parents on December 4, who were reported to have reached Ajmer on Tuesday.
President of Agrawal Smaj Ajmer Shailendra Aggarwal stated that Parag Agrawal was conceived in the Government Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, Ajmer on 21 May 1984.Parag’s father Ram Gopal Agrawal worked in BMRC in Mumbai.However, his parents i.e.Parag’s grandparents lived here in a rented home.
Shailendra Aggarwal stated that Parag’s parents will be welcomed to Ajmer on December 4th.

Parag Agrawal was the Chief Technology Officer at Twitter.While studying at Stanford University he interned with software giants such as Yahoo, Microsoft, and AT&T.
He holds an engineering degree in engineering from IIT Mumbai.He also holds a doctorate from Stanford University in computer science.
