Brazil suspends masks order in airports, and on flights

Brasilia 18 August : Brazils National Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) has canceled the compulsory use of masks for face in airports and on flights.

In May, Anvisa authorised the resumption of food service on airlines as well as the maximum capacity for passengers, but continued to allow the use of masks for face protection for planes, as well as in the restricted areas of airports.Since the onset of the pandemic in the early 2020s The South American country had registered 34.2 million cases of Covid-19, and 682,010 deaths with an average of 176 deaths per day in the past week.
