Los Angeles, Nov 30, : .Bradley Cooper, a Hollywood star, was on his way to collect Lea, his four-year old daughter when he was stopped at knifepoint.
The actor claims that the situation was “pretty crazy”. Cooper shared the following: “I used walk around New York City with these (headphones on) – this was prepandemic – I was on the subway at 11:45 to pick Lea up downtown at Russian school, and I was held at knifepoint.
It was quite insane.I realized that I was way, way too comfortable in this city.I was all the while on the subway, my guard was down.
“Innately, it was my intention to just go all the the way to the bottom.I felt somebody coming up.I thought, oh, they want to take some photos or something.As I turned, I saw a knife.I look down and see a knife.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, he remembered the knife measuring almost three inches in length.
He laughed and said, “I have my headphones on all the time.I can’t hear any sound.I am just listening to music.It’s all scored.
“I don’t recall (what I was listening).
I look up and see the person’s eyes.I am amazed at how young they seem.
Cooper ran towards an exit to escape, and then he did the same.
The actor appeared on the podcast “Armchair Expert” and explained that he jumped over the turnstile, hid behind the subway’s white-tiled entrance, and then took his phone out.He ran away, jumping over the turnstile.
“I took a picture of him.I chased him up the stairs.He ran up 7th Avenue.I took two more photos of him.I pulled up two officers in an SUV and showed them the photograph.The guy kept saying that it was so fascinating – he was like, “Are you stabbed?”
“I was like, “No, no.” He said, “No, no.” People get stabbed and are shocked.I looked to see if it was true.Then I got back on to the subway and picked my daughter up.”
