BJYM office bearer is killed in celebration firing in UP

A Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha office-bearer (BJYM), Ashish Gupta was killed during celebratory firing at a wedding function in this area in the wee hours of MondayAjay Kumar Singh Mirzapur, Superintendent of Police, stated that Gupta went to Sarju Udyan, Katra Kotwali, for a wedding function on Sunday night.

Some participants engaged in celebratory firing after the baraat" (marriage procession reached the venue).Gupta was shot in the stomach by bullets and was transported to a hospital division from which he was referred to BHU Varanasi.He died during treatment.
