Bihar man is being held on sexual abuse charges just prior to marriage

A groom who traveled to Khagaria from Bihar in order to wed another girl was taken into custody for cheating on his girlfriend in Dhanbad in JharkhandJust hours prior to the wedding, the Dhanbad police and the Khagaria police arrested him on sexual exploitation charges.According to a police officer, the girl was a Dhanbad resident who filed a complaint at a Dhanbad station against Rahul Kumar (a Parbatta station resident) for sexually exploiting her over five years under pretext of marriage.On Sunday, the Dhanbad police learned about Rahuls relationship with another girl.

Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Parbattas police station in-charge, said that Dhanbad police arrived at Khagaria on Sunday with the assistance of the local police and detained the suspect.The police say that the youth accused is a Katras school teacher.

According to them, the victim was also appointed as vocational education instructor.They fell in love.

According to the victim, she claimed that she had been sexually exploited five years ago under false pretense of marriage.She also claimed that she was forced to have two abortions by the accused.

According to her, Rahul would procrastinate whenever she spoke of getting married.Both the victims said that their families were ready to marry.
