Hyderabad CBI court gave a shock to the incumbent Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jaganmohan Reddy.The CBI court has accepted a petition filed by YSR Congress Party rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju seeking revocation of Jagan’s bail.
The court said the trial would be held on April 22.
In the first week of this month, Raghuram Krishnaraja filed a petition in the CBI court seeking revocation of the bail of CM Jagan in the case of inappropriate assets.Raghurama said the trial in the Jagan cases was being delayed and bail should be revoked.He recalled that Jagan is mentioned as an A1 in 11 charge sheets in the inappropriate assets case.
He said that he had filed the petition in the CBI court to protect democracy and the party’s fame.
While filing the petition, Raghuram Krishnaraja made controversial comments on CM Jagan.
He questioned whether the judiciary was asleep on this issue.The incumbent chief minister is said to have committed several financial crimes and he said suspicions were being expressed as the court is evading trial.
He also alleged Jagan was using his position to influence the witnesses.The acceptance of Raghurama’s petition for hearing by the CBI court has become a sensation in the state.
