With 50k people attending, Bengaluru’s tech summit concludes on high.

Bengaluru : Nov 20, 2012 - The 24th Edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit, Bengaluru Tech Summit (2021) - Karnataka’s most prestigious event, ended Friday night on a high noteE.

Ramana Reddy, Additional Head Secretary, Department of Information Technology and Biotechnology and Science and Technology, stated that the event attracted nearly 49,935 people and had 26,863 registered delegate.He said that the BTS-2021 reached over four million viewers.This includes 2.93 crore impressions via various social media channels including digital and 98.10,500 viewers via mainstream media.Reddy stated that the BTS 2021 meeting saw 8 plenary sessions and 75 sessions over four tracks.

There were also 18 on-demand sessions and 343 speakers.He said that 48 countries took part in the tech conference for the first time, apart from the 27 EU countries and 54 Commonwealth nations.

According to him, the three-member ministerial-level delegations attended the event as well as 1253 international delegate participants.He said that 2130 emails were exchanged at the BTS 2021 meeting and 688 meetings were held.

There was also 340 participants from Australia and the US.According to the Additional Chief Secretary, Smart Bio Awards and Software Technology Parks of India IT Export Awards had been given out.He said that the 22nd edition was held of the Rural IT Quiz despite Covid-19, which saw nearly 1.8 million students from eight states (Karnataka, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh), Madhya Pradesh.Reddy stated that the BTS 2021 witnessed the 14th Edition of the Bio Quiz, with over 590 students taking part, 60% of them being girls.

The Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 resulted in 8,507 registered attendees and 19,381 delegates attending the event.There were twelve keynote sessions in 2020 and 93 sessions across four tracks.
