Panaji, Dec 8, 2008 : Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of the State, urged people to ask about the status of their second Covid jab before shaking hands. “Before you touch people, ask if they have had a second dose.” Sawant spoke to reporters Wednesday, expressing concern over the 1.30 million people in the state’s coastal region who have not received the second Covid dose.
“It is important that the second dose be taken by as many people as possible.The second dose has not been taken by around 1.30 million people.The Chief Minister stated that even if you get Omicron by accident, there is a very low chance of it becoming severe if you take the second dose.”
“Vaccinate yourself, vaccinate family members and anyone over 18 years old.The Chief Minister stated that 100 percent vaccination is not only necessary to make a public declaration but also for the safety and well-being of the population.
