Bareilly Bareilly, 23 August : Ittehad-e-Millat Party chief Maulana Tauqeer Raza and Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi the general secretary of Ulma-e-Islam have expressed their concern about the violence against minorities in Pakistan.
The clerics urged Pakistan to stop these actions and stated that certain groups were working against basic principles of Islam and such actions should be labelled "anti-Islam".They claimed that Islam was spreading across the globe due to the nature of its beliefs and practices and also coexisted with other religions which together make up the Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb of India "There is no law of law in Pakistan and people engage in acts in the name of religion, thus bringing an unpopular image to Islam.
If they were knowledgeable of the Islamic faith, they wouldnt have engaged in such actions.People should study books by Ala Hazrat in order to learn more," they said.
The press release states that clergymen also stated that the breaking of temples and other shrines in Pakistan was an extremely unjust act that is prohibited in Islam "Such actions tarnish the image of the religion, and Muslims who live in other countries must pay the cost," they stated.amita/shb.
