New Delhi, Nov 29th : The British media asks if Barbados will regret its decision to kick out Queen Elizabeth II and be Seduced by Beijing’s billions.Daily Mail reported that the Prince of Wales will be the guest of honor as one of the world’s smaller democracies officially severs all ties with the Crown and declares itself the republic Barbados.
On Tuesday morning, soldiers and police officers, judges, civil service personnel, and all other apparatus of state in what many consider the’most British of the Caribbean nations’ (some still call it “Little England”) will no longer owe allegiance the Queen.

According to the report, China announced last week that it would build a $274 million ring road for Jamaica’s second capital, Montego Bay.
Tian Qi, the Chinese ambassador to Jamaica, announced the deal.He made the usual platitudes about “greener development” before telling Jamaicans, “To get rich, build roads.” The UK’s promise to spend PS2.8million on marine research in 17 small islands states across the Caribbean or Pacific is not enough.
The report stated that Barbados signed a Memorandum of Understanding just days before the outbreak.This made Barbados a member of China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”.
It also gave the country new benefits in’shipping and aviation, infrastructure, and modern agriculture.
There is no free lunch.
It stated that the debts for China’s new buses, buildings, roads, and hotel complexes must all be paid.
One UK journalist tried to raise the issue with Barbados’ prime minister a week ago.His response was a thinly veiled accusation of racism.
Mia Mottley said that it was a reflection of unconscious bias.
She asked the Sunday Times to question China’s links with the country.
