Mahesh to lose his Tamil market with this wrong step?

Mahesh Babu has always been the most popular star in Tamil Nadu from the current lot.He has benefit shows throughout the Chennai city for every film.

In other words, he holds a decent market in Tamil.

Thats the probable reason why Maniratnam and Shankar earlier tried to make a film the Superstar and AR Murugadoss has already made one.But the failure of Spyder has caused a serious damage to Mahesh Babus reputation in Tamil Nadu.Will he loose everything there soon? Brahmotsavam is arguably the worst film of Mahesh Babus career.The film received pathetic reviews like no other star film in the recent past.It was a nightmare at boxoffice.

Who would dare to dub this film into Tamil now? But Bhadrakali films, the same company which distributed Mahesh Babus previous films into Tamil, will now be releasing Brahmotsavam into Tamil.The Tamil version has been titled as Anirudh with a caption "The Good Samaritan".

Lets wait and see if or not this film receives a better talk in Tamil Nadu.Anyhow, trade expects the same washout like what happened in Telugu market.

In other news, Mahesh Babus Bharath Ane Nenu is reconfirmed for April 27th release.The Superstar will next join Vamsi Paidipally and Trivikram Srinivas for Mahesh 25 and Mahesh 26.
