Baba Play launches ‘Quota-The Reservation’ starring Anirudh Dave

Mumbai, Nov 24, : Baba Play, a digital social platform that honours the ideology Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s, is all set for the launch of the upcoming thriller film “Quota”, starring Anirudh Dave and film actor.
The film tells the story of a first year Dalit student who is physically and discriminated against by an upper-caste student.

The student is left with a permanent scarring from the physical abuse.

The victimized student is forced to take drastic measures because he cannot accept the negligence of the system and the intentional targeting of students from lower castes.

His actions led to a rebellion among Dalit students, who fight for justice.

Baba Play is a social-media app that aims to awaken society through entertainment, and to spread the thoughts Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s around the globe.

The film is a presentation by Sanjiv Jaiswal (producer, writer, and director).He is best known for his first film as producer, “Fareb” (2005), which was directed and produced by Deepak Tijori.

It featured Shamita Shetty and Shilpa in the lead roles, and Manoj Bajpayee.

Manish Jha directed and wrote Jaiswal’s second film, ‘Anwar’ (2007).

It featured Siddharth Koirala and Rajpal Yadav, as well as Nauheed Cyrusi and Manisha.His first film as director, “Shudra – The Rising” (2012), is considered a definitive statement about the evils inherent in the caste system.

Jaiswal, who directed ‘Shudra’ and ‘Pranaam’ (2019), was the director of the action film Pranaam’.Rajeev Khandwal, Vikram Gokhale, Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Sing were the stars.

But now he is the force behind Baba Play.

Jaiswal spoke out about Baba Play and said that “This will be an instrument of massive change, and films like ‘Quota’ are pivotal to this.

We want entertainment with meaning and purpose, and to spread Baba Saheb’s ideas throughout the country.

Dave, who plays the role of the Dalit student is thrilled to play a meaningful role in Baba Play and tell the story to the audience.

He stated that he believes it is important to discuss the problems that divide the nation and eventually become our weakness.I am thrilled to be featured on India’s only app that represents the voice and concerns of the Dalit community.

Garima Kapoor makes her debut as the lead female character.She plays a Dalit medical student who also happens to be Asia’s fastest rider.She was thrilled about her debut and said, “The film truly depicts how casteism is destroying our society from the inside.” Students today don’t have safe places to go when the temple of knowledge isn’t around.This must change.I am happy to be able tell such an important story through my work.

Aditya Om, a South Indian film star who is also a writer/director, will play the role as a youth leader fighting against casteism at ‘Quota.

The trailer for ‘Quota,’ which will soon be released on the Baba Play Platform, is already live.
