Mumbai 12th September : Ayushi Khurana, currently starring in the show ‘Ajooni’ on TV”, said that the current track is a reflection of the different personalities of the main character Ajooni(Ayushi) and Rajveer(Shoaib Ibrahim) in their marriage and how they try to resolve the issue.
She stated: “A marriage is about sharing equally supportive and respectful treatment.Ajooni and Rajveer are two people who have completely different thinking processes, but when these two souls join in an ethereal bond like marriage, the only way to making it a success is to show respect for each one another and treating equally.”
In the film, Rajveer is seen supporting Ayushi as she was forced to drink water with which her mother-in-law’s feet were washed.
“As we watched in the most recent episodes, Rajveer decides to take the side of Ajooni by standing up for her when she has to drink the water Ajooni makes use of to wash her mother-in-law’s feet as punishment.It’s a courageous decision by Rajveer in defending his wife in the face of such a situation,” she added.
Khurana says that marriage is about understanding each other and helping one another when needed, and this is the message the show aims to convey through the relationship of Ajooni and Rajveer.
She stated: “A goal in a marriage is to remain together regardless of what happens.Ajooni and Rajveer are trying to get to know each other and help each one another in every way that they can.However, occasionally, situations arise that make them have to fight each one.But what is important in the final analysis is how they overcome these challenges and remain in the support of one another and show each other respect in marriage.”
