5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature, Srinagar on Wednesday recorded the coldest night of the season so far while Drass town of Ladakh literally froze at minus 13.0.Srinagar : , Wednesday, November 17, 2017: At minus 1.5 Celsius, Srinagar recorded the coldest night so far this season, while Drass, Ladakh, literally frozen at minus 13.0.An official of the MeT department said Srinagar recorded the coldest night of the season so far on Wednesday as the mercury dropped to minus 1.5 degrees Celsius.Officials from the MeT department stated that Srinagar had recorded Wednesday’s coldest night so far, with the temperature dropping to minus 1.5° Celsius.
“Pahalgam had minus 4.7 and Gulmarg minus 2.0 as the minimum.Pahalgam was minus 4.7, and Gulmarg was minus 2.0.
“Leh town of Ladakh had minus 10.7 and Kargil had minus 8.1.Kargil was minus 8.1 and Leh Town of Ladakh was minus 10.7.
“At minus 13.0, Drass was the coldest place in J&K and Ladakh today.Drass, at minus 13.0 degrees today was the coldest spot in J&K or Ladakh.

“On an average minimum temperature to remain below normal by -2 to -3 degrees across J&K except some pockets of Chenab Valley”.”On average, the minimum temperature should remain below normal in J&K by 2 to 3 degrees (except for some areas of Chenab Valley).
