Chennai, Nov 26th : , Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland Ltd announced Friday that Vipin Sondhi (Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, CEO) has decided to resign due to personal reasons. Ashok Leyland says Sondhi’s resignation is effective as of December 31, 2021.
The company board requested that Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja assume the role of Executive Chairman immediately to ensure business continuity.
The company stated that the board will meet soon to decide on the next steps in identifying the next MD & Chief Executive Officer.
