Arnold Schwarzenegger gives 25 small houses to veterans who are homeless

Los Angeles.December 31, 2008 : .Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger donated 25 small houses to homeless vets in Los Angeles after he teamed up with Village for Vets.
According to Fox11 reports, Schwarzenegger spent $250,000 on the purchase of the structures in West Los Angeles.

He then donated the structures to people who were previously in the US Armed Forces but now face homelessness.

It was tweeted by the 74-year old actor.

His words were: “Today I celebrated Christmas earlier.Los Angeles was the place where I installed 25 of my donated homes for homeless vets.

It was wonderful to meet our heroes and welcomed them into their new homes.

I want to say thank you @villageforvets and @amvetshq for organizing the homes.

Also, thanks @secvetaffairs and @amvetshq who helped make this happen.It was clear that we could solve any problem if we worked together.

Fox11 spoke with Bruce Henry Cooper, a veteran who said the project was a lifesaver for him and his fellow homeless vets this Christmas.

He said of the actor in ‘Kindergarten Cop: “He hasn’t forgotten about us.”

Since 2016, the Village for Vets has worked with former service personnel who had to live on the streets.They have provided them with small houses with running water and heating as well as electricity.

In an interview with Fox11, Schwarzenegger said that the joy he experienced after his charity work was “the best Christmas gift” he could receive.

His words were: “It feels good to give back to the country that has done so much for me.” America was the reason I reached this level of success.It is my responsibility to continue to do so.
